Natalie's Bedroom Redesign Mood Board

This is the Mood Board that my daughter Rachel and I created for my other daughter Natalie's bedroom redesign project. We ended up using almost all of these elements - with a few surprises thrown in. I'll post photos of the finished room in a few days.

Master Bedroom in Progress

We've updated our master bedroom with two Ikea Malm dressers and added sheets by Thomas O'Brien Vintage Modern for Target. On the windows we hung Ikea sheer white curtains. We had already painted the room Manor Gray by Ralph Lauren. The headboard is from Target. Then we added a selection of bed pillows from Nate Berkus' line for Linens 'N Things, Target and Ross, and added in a few Ikea vases along with vintage pieces. We framed some old 1960s Fillmore West handbills in crisp white frames from Target for above the bed. The red lamp is from Pier One, and has since moved to another room and has been replaced by a vintage lamp.

Some Different "Takes" on the Dining Room

We started out with an antique English oak table, but ended up selling it on craigslist. We really wanted a round table in this space. We also played around with moving the console table out, and a vintage Arts and Crafts bookcase in. It's a work-in-progress.

Our Dining Room

We painted the walls a sunny shade of yellow, chose a Crate and Barrel Galerie round table and Epoch chairs, added the Galerie console table to display white china and topped off the room with a modern drum shade pendant. We framed old Currier and Ives prints in crisp black frames with white mats from Ikea.
